Development Update 4.6.2024 (Patreon)
Content
Intro
Hello Patrons,
Apologies for how long this Development Update took to release. I've been implementing some new features within the project and it took a while for me to get right. The ones I was having trouble with was the interactive animations and adding fluids. I'll explain more in those sections.
Tier 3 Test Release
I plan to release a Test Build for Tier 3 members to test and hopefully get some helpful feedback on any bugs or issues at the end of the month. A couple of things I am trying to test are all the new features in this build. I'll list the couple of things I looking for in the test release.
How well does the new AI Chat system work in an Actual Build?
Implement Widescreen Resolution.
Feedback on the adult system.
Feedback on NPC animation and Reactions.
Widescreen Resolution implementation for Widescreen Monitors.
Changes and Improvements are needed in the Tutorial part of the game.
Changes and Improvements for the Fully Functional Character Customization.
Feedback on Linux Builds.
Feedback for Overall Game Performance.
These are the sort of questions I hope to answer with the test build I plan to release at the end of the month. This will help with a better official Build 7 release. This will be available only to Tier 3 members as part of their package. I'll be hosting a Discord Chat session upon the Test release when the test build release day. The Discord chat session date will posted in the next Development Update.
Neighborhood Houses Texture Added
The houses in the residential zone needed some textures. I was tired of looking at a textureless model of a House in the Neighborhood. Overall I'm satisfied with it right now, there are still a couple of houses that need to be fixed. I also plan on tweaking and adding additions to the Neighborhood to give it the neighborhood feel. The roads need some work there. I plan to fix the roads in the neighborhood in Build 7.
Reactions To Player's Actions
Reactions to the User touching NPC are in Development. There are several reactions implemented depending on where you touch the area of NPC's Body. Each of a different reaction to them. They still need a lot of work but I plan to flush this out as we get closer to the Build 7 release. A few issues I am having are like when I go to touch the NPC's butt she or he does the correct reaction but suddenly goes into a roll, which I have no idea why they are doing that.
Depending on your relationship level with the NPC depends on their reaction to you touching them. For instance, if they don't know you they are more likely going to resist you touching them and if have a very close relationship with them they will be open and flirty when you touch them.
Interactive Adult Animations
This is the first of the most difficult new features in this Development Update. Interactive Adult Animations. BJ and some animations are interactable, I hope to get all the other adult animations on the same page before the Test Release.
There was a lot to do to implement this feature. I had to create IK targets, animation curves, and animations of paths as part of this mechanic. I then have to program the new system with all these things working together. It took a bit of planning and testing to get it to work right but now the basis is in and will improve as I update this project.
The new interactive animations will be able to be controlled by the Manipulation tool on the bottom right of this image.
This is still a work in progress but look so much better than the adult animations I had before and man did it make me feel some type of way seeing this in action. If you haven't noticed their is not a wet shader on the male's tool and it accumulate more as your partner continues to do the deed. Fluids will pour from the bottom and this just looks so juicy...
This still needs some tweaking but now you are in control of the thrust and your partner's fun areas will react to your thrusts. The male genitals also move in a realistic way which is not controlled by animations but by actual physics.
Fluids Added
The cream glazer has been added and is also one of the more difficult features I've been working on. I had to plan and test several ways for this system to look and work the best. As of the moment, I'll will stick with a particle system for this fluid mechanic because I tried other several techniques but there were some limitations to them.
I also can improve this system more with a custom pass effect which will make the skeet shots look more like skeet shots but I haven't found a way to fully implement it. I know it has something to do with a Custom Pass which blends the particles. This would only delay the Build 7 release so I'm going to tweak this and leave it as it is right now.
Upcoming Build 7 Development Road Map
My plan next is to fully work on the character customization and having all the new systems and feature implemented in the World. I also plan on creating a Tutorial system to help new players learn how to play the game. I notice there is not much information on the controls of the game and most players just don't know what to do.
I also going to work on a basic sleep system where you as a player will usually start. This will be the foundation for a save system and regulating the player's character attributes. Implementing the new NPC set character into the world. Also, the most time-consuming but the most important one as well, animations ... more and more animations.
Outro
I appreciate the members who support me so far, and the one guy who messages time to time to make sure I'm still at it, thank you, sir. I also appreciate those who understands that I'm the only one working on this game and I don't have a team. I also have a personal life that has its ups and downs.
The reason I want to create this game is to have the Ultimate Adult Experience and I think you guys want the same. I truly plan on bringing that to you but such an ambition is not easy to make so please be patient if you want to help test this game. The test build will be out of the end of the month but only for Tier 3 members.
Thank you,
Blast
