Development Update 5.23.2034 (Patreon)

Hello friends,

Exciting news for Tier 3 members, I just released a Test Build for Windows and Linux. This version I would have has been the most stable out of all the builds I have put out in the past. When I plan to release Build 7 officially, I am hoping everything works fast and smoothly.

I was slightly nervous about how this new Dialogue System with AI text generation would handle the game. Surprisingly it is working OK, there are some issues though that I need to clear up. One of them is, that the AI text generation will just stop completely in some scenes. You will have to restart the game or leave the Level and reenter for it to work again. Sometimes the AI would just ramble on, I have noticed this much but please let me know if this happens.

Stability And Performance

I plan to make this Build very stable. It is already looking to be one of my most stable builds so far. One thing I would to focus more on is increasing the frame rate. Surprisingly it is doing well with AI text generation and Strand Based hair added.

Fully Functional Character Creator

The character creator finally works, it is still in its bear-bones state but more additions are to come in the next Build 7 test version. Within the character customization you get to see the new Strand-based hair system in action. It is pretty cool, and definitely improves the appearance of models.

A new clothing addition was added for both males and females. A hoodie outfit for them to wear. These can be picked up like with Clothing pick-ups. They are a little hard to find especially the Top Hoodie... I do plan on making this easier. I actually can never find the hoodie top myself.

Romance System

As usual, you can pick up gifts around the map and give them to an NPC. This will increase your relationship standing making you one step closer to making sweet love. Now you will notice an increase in Relationship status with an effect. There is also an effect when you decrease in relationship level.

Changes to Books

At the beginning of my projects. I had several versions that had books you picked up and it showed pages of dialogue you can say the NPC to increase your relationship with them.

I made replaced these with dirty mags called "Entice". They're hidden around the game, you can search for them around the map. Once you find and pick one up they offer money and gifts. I plan on adding a Gallery section where these are placed in as a collection.

Dialogue System Additions

I just added some talking animations so when the NPC responds they are not just standing there motionless. The animation isn't great but I will polish this along with other animations.

A chat bubble will now appear beside the NPC head when it has something to say. This will pop up even when you are not in Conversation mode.

Audio Additions

Added better audio in this version. I think it just sounds so much better than what I previously had. in the step-parent's house, there is now an ambiance to make it more immersive. Cars have music playing as well when you walk past them. I also tweak them to where they play over other music making it less annoying.

I know the audio in intercourse mode needs a lot of work. It is on the list of priorities right now.

Cheat System

With the new Dialogue system, I had to change the cheat system. I have created a console where you can input cheat commands and it will activate cheats. There are two currently at the moment. I only had one before and you had to enter a code in the dialogue input field.

Outro

Next Build 7 test release update I plan to focus on Animations, Audio, more clothing options, and more fixes as well. I plan to put out another test build for build 7 in a couple of days.
