Hello everyone,

I wanted to give you all a quick update since there wasn't a free weekly development post last week.

To be honest, I decided to take a short break. I've been pushing myself pretty hard over the past several months, and as NeonStrip continues to grow in both size and complexity, development has become much more demanding than it was in the early days. I felt it was important to step back for a little while, clear my head, and reorganize both myself and parts of the project.

Even during that break, I still found myself making progress behind the scenes. Most of the work has been focused on bug fixes, performance improvements, and continuing to develop the combat systems. While these aren't always the most exciting features to showcase, they're important for building a more stable and enjoyable experience.

This month's development has been a bit all over the place, and that's something I'm aware of. As the project continues to grow, I'm working toward establishing a development routine that is more sustainable and organized. I believe that will not only help me work more efficiently, but also result in more consistent progress and better updates for everyone following the project.

The good news is that I'm still planning to release the official monthly build at the end of this month as scheduled. Over the coming days, I'll continue polishing, fixing issues, improving performance, and refining the combat mechanics before the update goes live.

Thank you all for your patience, support, and understanding. It really means a lot, and it allows me to keep pushing NeonStrip forward. I'm looking forward to showing you everything that's coming in this month's build.

Piss off about a "routine". Unless, of course, that routine is something that inspires you. Develop the game as often as you're inspired and as long as you can tolerate the dickheads that bitch about absurd aspects of their own vision for the game.

I don't think a routine is that all bad, especially when it comes to commercial stuff and people have expectations on there purchases I get that. I do wish people knew the level of difficulty that some develepors are working with. I admire the vision and I share a lot of the same vision. I am trying my very best to manifest that vision. I agree some of them are absurd. I think there is misunderstanding on what are tech is capable of .like trying replace the robotic with good voices. Sure that will be easy for scripted dialogue like a traditional dialogue system. These are dialogues already created or written beforehand. Now dialogue generated on the fly or runtime is not that easy.
