Development Update 5.6.2023 (Patreon)

Hey friends,

Here is another update on Love X Lust, let's jump right into it. 

I love art, but it takes so long to draw and create.  If I did all my art by hand I think I am a pretty good artist, not a professional nor the best.  I think I am above average when it comes to art.  Give me enough time and I can create a masterpiece.  Unfortunately, I don't have the time to create art when it comes to game development as a solo game dev.  Luckily there is AI art and after many hours of practice and learning how to create good AI art.  I think I found the right formula for art for my game which is what you see at the top of this page.  Many more like this will come, this will make my game feel more like an adult game.

This week I am finishing up the female template.  This means after I am finished with her,  I can finally start setting up Set Characters, NPC, and the new female player controller for the females.  In the video,  I demonstrate the skin update, physics, and wrinkles maps within the face. The female models will have tan lines and also dripping skin.  So there has been a huge update to the female model.  Here is a picture of the wrinkle map at work.

The male model will follow the same improvements.  I'll be working on them, they will get done a lot quicker.  I'll go more in-depth about them in the Sunday Screenshot.

On to more updates,  there will now be a studio scene in which you can view characters and cars in the future, probably.  I will have something like it within the character editor but it will be a slim-down version of it.

There have also been changes to the UI.  I am messing around with stuff but I hear the comments about a bad UI in previous builds, so that is a focus too.
