Nice pick Daniel. I saw this in theaters and lightning hit the theater during the climax of the movie.

About to sit down and watch this reaction! Very pleasant surprise I forgot this movie existed! Excited to experience it again with you Cody, you rock man!

now im excited to see twisters tho I just read online its a standalone sequel where it takes place in the same universe as this one but follows a new generation of storm chasers . still on OK as its setting.

Jonathan

Yeah I saw it opening night in 1996

Zuko Halliwell

I saw a tornado once. Actually, I didn't really "see" it, I was in the middle of it. When I was in college, an EF1 hit campus. I was in the lobby of the dorms when it hit. The wind blew the sliding doors off their hinges and I just went into panic mode. After the storm passed, I walked around campus surveying the damage. The buildings were still there, but the trees and light poles were all down. I've been terrified of tornadoes ever since, which is why I stopped watching this movie for years.

This film was even nominated for an Oscar for best special and sound effects. But didn't win any

Thanks Cody. That was a really nice one. The new movie Twisters is also very good. It's a complete new story with new characters but also about tornado hunters. You should check it out as well, if you like to. I was born 1996 as well, just a few months later than you. Same year that movie came out. Also yes, my request for this month, is into the wild. Also also thank you Daniel, for requesting this one.

Daniel Fuchs

Thanks Firefighter for the lovely comment. You chose the film “Only the Breathe” last time. Have you actually seen Ron Howard's other firefighting film "Backdraft" from 1991?

Firefighter1496

Hi Daniel. Yeah I know Backdraft. Pretty good movie with cool actors.

I live in tornado alley and let me tell you my dude, I dread hearing the tornado sirens. I remember there was one time one of the strongest tornadoes went over the area where I used to live, and I still remember hearing the loud winds as it screamed. It almost sounded demonic, as if it was a demon coming to kill us all basically.

Kazumi Kurochi

Man I used to live in Texas growing up and tornadoes are my main fear I remember being around 7 hearing a tornado going by where I lived it sounded like a freight train the winds the roaring this movie is so good it freaked me out when I first saw it but fell in love with it another classic movie is Speed Racer by the wachowski brothers
