Kristina

I've never cried so much at a film as I did at this one. It's a difficult watch, but very important. I believe this film is a must-see! These atrocities must never be repeated.

yeah this one just hits so hard. I remember watching this in high school for my social studies class and everybody in my class including myself was sobbing so hard 😭 as devastating as it is, I do think it was a very important thing to learn about so I’m glad I watched it at least once but I don’t think I will ever be able to watch it again

During his final years, Oskar was financially supported by the very people he saved. If I'm not mistaken, he's the only n***i to be buried in that particular cemetery in Israel. It was his wish.

Jonathan D. Phoenix

Miranda Corvus

They had to tone down Amon Goeth because if they were accurate he'd be considered too evil to be realistic...and people still thought he was too evil to be realistic Man was so horrible Holocaust survivors there to advice the actors had panic attacks when they saw the actor in costume

Elvis donated the proceeds from his 1973 “Aloha from Hawaii” satellite-concert to the Kui Lee cancer fund. He loved Memphis and wanted the best for the city. On Dec. 1, 1967, he pledged $10,500 to the Memphis Jewish Community Center Building Fund and paid a $2,500 installment on that date.

Elvis Presley, was reportedly touched by the events of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and, after its suppression, made efforts to raise aid for those in need in Hungary. In early 1957, on the legendary Ed Sullivan Show stage, he sang a song titled “Peace in the Valley” in memory of the Hungarian Revolution

I remember seeing a clip of this in high school. I was interested enough to buy the DVD of it and watch the whole thing myself. I've completely forgotten how powerful this movie is.

Chris Thompson

Chris Thompson
