Thanks for addressing things Cody! I was definitely excited for BTR and Wizards to come back but I totally understand if they aren’t! Also I don’t plan on leaving the Patreon unless my financial situation changes. Even if people don’t like all the current content there’s still plenty to go and rewatch! I feel it’s going to be hard to recommend shows & movies because of the chance that they will be copyrighted. Like there’s shows & movies I would like to request but would it be worth it if they can not be uploaded to YouTube edited? I appreciate you telling me your thoughts though.

Thank you for being open with us about this Cody! I’ll be honest I have left your Patreon a couple of times before but that was only because my financial situations did change during those times and I just couldn’t afford it. But I always come back because I genuinely love watching your reactions whether it be your older posts, your current ones, all your collabs, etc. I personally don’t think you need to change anything about your channel or what you’re watching, I think you’re doing a great job!!

If I were to leave, it would only be for two reasons: either a lack of money, or you spending a long time posting movies or series that don't interest me—but that hasn't happened so far. There are always at least two movies or series a month that interest me, and I think it's great that you cover Marvel. Love Lia

Secondly, you are under absolutely no obligation to remain the same person your entire life, and certainly not for the sake of an audience. Thirdly, you should only record if it's a *passion* of yours. It should not be an obligation. The very nature of this job is that it should be fun. Lastly, please advise if the "Pride" reaction is happening, and if you've already seen the movie, go ahead and disregard the request.

Thanks for the video Cody. It is good that you are talking about these things. I gotta say, I don't watch everything you post, because I'm not interested in a lot of these shows. Actually I'm more interested in your movie reactions, but some shows like Spongebob and Wizards of Waverly Place I really enjoyed. If you would watch Breaking Bad on your channel, I would be your best friend forever. Also I really like it, that you give us the opportunity, to request specific movies and shows. So I wanted to say thank you very much for all of that. I am now already one of your patrons since June 2022 and I'm not going to leave you. For the future I still have a lot of good movies for you to watch and I'm also interested in your other future content. So thanks again and greetings from Germany.

I’ve said this before and I’m not sure if you read my comment but I will literally stay subscribed just for the marvel content. I love those movies and rewatching it with you reminds me of my childhood and what I grew up on. I haven’t watched these movies in so long so it’s so refreshing to rewatch them all. I’m going to stay for as long as I can afford it and as long as there’s content that I like being pushed out. I watch the invincible reactions and will watch the digital circus video when that comes out. I feel like with me I will find something of yours to watch. The first video I’ve watched of yours was the kung fu panda video 5 years ago and I’ve loved your content ever since!

Sorry you’ve been dealing with so much Cody. Hopefully things get better for you really soon. We all wish you the best man. As far as your declining viewership and income, I think it comes down to three factors. The way the world is right now, people’s interests changing, and how their tendency to interpret things said online in the worst way when that not how they’re intended to be. With the world getting more and more expensive, people have been shifting their priorities to things that needed to be payed the most opposed to what they want. And we all know how difficult certain people can be when it comes to how they interpret certain things other people say. Opinions on media, the state of society, etc. All it can take is one little word or sentence that can cause a person to turn on and ditch another for no good reason. As for the interests thing, just like how people change when they grow up, people’s tastes and interests change to. What they thought they like or still like and those likes not being met can be a reason for not checking things out and some of your reaction series ending early since they weren’t performing well(ratings wise at least). For example, I mostly liked seeing your SpongeBob, iCarly, Drake & Josh, Victorious, Disney, Pixar and DreamWorks stuff but not so much stuff like Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Brooklyn Nine Nine and so on. On top of the fact that things with me and many other people haven’t been doing so well and we’re all just trying to find what interests us while putting our priorities to where they need to be the most. Plus we all know how much of a bastard copyright is when it comes to taking down content that you’ve worked so hard for and that many people love to see. So I think all of this is far less of a YOU problem and more so either a problem with how people interpret things without the full context, devolving or evolving tastes, and just how hard life is for many of us. Hopefully this gives you some answers and ideas as to how things have been lately and gives you some ideas as to improve and continue doing what you love. Myself and everyone else here want what’s best for you Cody. We love you, and we can’t wait to see what comes next from you and to see you happy. However you see fit. Stay totally terrific man.

@Ryan Moore It kinda is an obligation if it pays his bills. Now I don't know Cody personally and perhaps this Youtube/Patreon thing is a side hustle, but if it's the main thing that pays his bills, then he can't always record whenever he wants. I agree it's important to be passionate about your work, but sometimes it's important to commit to things, even if you don't always like it. It's the same thing for people who works a paycheck to paycheck job, you can't just show up whenever you want. I don't want to be that guy, but your comment isn't exactly how a sustainable business or the real world works. At the end of the day, when people are paying a recurring monthly fee, they aren't donating to a hobby—they are paying for a service, and consistency is the bare minimum expectation.

This really needed to be said, Cody. It really makes me sad that you question if you're a "mean" person or not, I hope you realize that you're anything but that! You're one of the most real, down-to-earth video creators out there, and a very kind person. People change all the time, especially after going through traumatic things and just plain bad things (I have some choice words for your ex, but that's beside the point), I know I'm not the same person I was even 2 years ago, so those who just expect you to remain the same person 5-6 years into a channel, screw them. I hope you continue doing content you enjoy as well, I don't talk alot on here cuz I'm not that talkative of a person, but really though, I hope you're okay, Cody. You're a good person with a good heart, and you deserve the best.

I’ve been very happy with your content. I often don’t comment, because of brain farts ( I just can’t think of things to say). I have noticed changes , but that’s life, in general. I get a little frustrated when I see people expecting YouTube people have the same personality 5 years later. I get the desire to, but it’s not realistic.

Hey Cody! I’m a recent joiner especially after all your Victorious and iCarly and etc. reactions were taken down. I want to say while your reactions do cast a very wide net and I am not personally into every show or movie you react to, I definitely admire your ability to speak truthfully and ask for feedback. I commented recently on your community post asking if you’re okay because as a creator myself, I realize it’s very hard to lose content you have worked so hard to create and spend so much time on. Not really many questions for now, as I don’t really have anything to complain about, since I find your witty commentary and presence enjoyable, but I appreciate you sharing your stories with us and I appreciate you staying strong and keeping at this. It may not be easy, but you’ve gave me a lot of laughs and I will never forget your channel! Thanks Cody! Keep it up man!
