Man. So much of what happens in these episodes hurts with the hindsight I now have. Episode 9 is gonna be intense.

aw you missed the post credits scene in episode 6. the finale also has a post credits scene (also recommend just watching the whole credits)

I’m not very good at explaining, but from what I can gather from episode 8’s context. The beginning shows a red dot, being programmed with all this information about the outside world, and ends up trapped in a white cage. That dot is Caine. Then a blue dot appears and is able to create forms that Caine was unable to due to being trapped. Caine, wanting to create more, as he was programmed to, escaped and merged with the blue AI, fully gaining enough power to create the circus. This would be why his eyes are flashing red and blue. I hope that makes sense, again I kinda suck at explaining lol.
