Sorry Cody if I came off that way. I know everyone has their opionions about things. I just trying to clear certain things. Whatever you feel for these characters is fine

Isabella

Yeah this is a good horror movie. Toni Collete is a master at being scared and screaming

Isabella

Peter's eyes were cut out because the old saying that goes the eyes are the windows to the soul. Like in Coraline

Isabella

I don't mean anything bad by it but people who have a family history of mental disorders shouldn't procreate. Its better to adopt. Like Annie, her parents, and brother all had it and Charlie did too but of course was possessed by Paimon half the time

Isabella

Knowing this movie, it really wasn't Peter's fault that Charlie died cause it was only a matter of time that she would get killed as that was the first step of the plan. If it wasn't from the peanut party incident, it would have been something else

Tanisha Jones

I'm halfway through this reaction. And the amount of "OH MY GOD!", "What the fuck?!" and "Are you serious right now?" statements that have passed my lips is remarkable. You haven't even jumped and I've probably jumped 3 times already! This movie is BANANAS....im afraid to press play but let's press on.

This movie legit gave me nightmares. And then I told everyone I knew to watch it. That's how my mind works, lol

Tanisha Jones

Im so glad I watched this first and not The Grinch. I sat through the rest of the movie with my head in my hands and jaw dropped. I am thoroughly disturbed.

One thing that helped me not totally hate Peter's reaction to Charlie situation was remembering he's a teen. They react even more differently than a rational adult does.

His reaction wasn't bad. It made sense cause he knows his sister is dead so of course he doesn't check the body and just drives home. And its not like he was trying to hide it and he didn't sleep at all.

In class when they were talking about a book, they were basically talking about the cult puppeteering the family

Isabella

The cult killed the dog. They killed the husband because they didn't need him at all

Isabella

Cody Steve wasn't wrong to think that Annie dug up the grave since she's been descending into madness, treating Peter badly, and she never told him about the grief counseling even though he's a therapist

Isabella

I hope you read my comments as it clears some confusion you probably had Cody

Cody Hoppes

Okay Isabella.. one thing I will say is you’re allowed to have your opinion, just like I’m allowed to have mine. Just cuz I said things or thought things you didn’t within this movie doesn’t make me wrong, that’s what movies are for, interpretation. I appreciate the comments but there’s a difference between being helpful and being critical. There’s no “right answer” when it comes to mysteries or horrors. Thank you.

well what I meant was by not calling anyone. I totally understood the shock of it all, but I wanted for him to call 911, or his dad.

Isabella

Annie was partly to blame for Charlie's death because she insisted she goes to what she thought was a school party. Peter didn't tell her it was a house party she was going to be annoying about it and since you know now that their relationship was already strained because of the paint thinner which you can't be mad at him for any of that

Tanisha Jones

Honestly I understand Peter was in shock when Charlie died but damn he couldn't tel his parents, react, call the police or do anything....but he had the energy to drag his ass back in his bed? I'm sorry that's crazy to me.
