Squidward kinda deserved the torture in the early seasons because he was kind of a jerk. So it’s more justified here, but in the newer seasons it’s completely unjustified. I absolutely hate the new episodes.

This is actually incorrect and the actor for Sikowits even stated so on Twitter. The voice actor for plankton is Mr. Doug Lawrence.
