Aries' thoughts: "Best dog bed EVER."

Sheldon and his protector Tommy reminded me so much of the early 1980s movie My Bodyguard that I had to go look it up and watch it, which I haven't done since I was very young. It was still pretty funny even today. Yeah, Sheldon could definitely be....well, evil isn't the word. It's more like his lack of empathy makes his moral compass really questionable at times. He understands basic right vs. wrong, but he has difficulty grasping ethical and moral situations. I think it's why he started putting everything in written rules or contracts; it's the best way Sheldon knows how to train his brain to accept and follow the grey areas since he lacks the empathic understanding of emotional subtext. One could argue he *needs* that structure, and at the core of that is his growing awareness (through YS and TBBT both) that he lacks a fundamental aspect of humanity and must compensate for it to be a better person. He WANTS to be a better human being, no matter how much he talks/talked wistfully about being an alien or a robot.

If you are considering the idea of starting a video game channel, that would be so awesome. You would get a lot of new viewers if you did that.

This series does really well with character development. I just finished season 6 and boy do the characters come a long way. Some improve, others could use another season. Sheldon we all know will have to wait till he is older to show some hard core character development. But it is cute watching him grow even the little bit we see in this show.
