I was going to say something about bringing tissues, but I did not want to spoil that there would be some sadness lol

hey btw, about your post from earlier, about spongebob? If I remember correctly, and you and Nick are going to do the original movie too; it was originally supposed to act as the Season 3 finale. So that's when you should do it, just saying haha

DevonTheUltra

Fun fact, the guys who played the paramedics in the first episode are the creators of the show, Craig Thomas and Carter Bays.

You told us no spoilers, for this series have tissues ready and a book written by Socrates on stand by

There's no need at all to apologize for medical issues; I have a good friend who has suffered with kidney stones several times and similar issues, and it is NO joke. It is agonizing, exhausting, and debilitating. I hope the doctors are able to figure out what the underlying issue is and get you feeling chipper again! I didn't get very far in watching How I Met Your Mother when it actually aired; there were too many other things I was wanting to watch. So it is really nice to watch along with you. While the first season is familiar, the rest will not be, and I'm looking forward to that. YouTube is becoming a dead zone for reactors. Problems with videos being blocked/removed, viewership declining, YouTube censoring....it seems to me that YT doesn't have much more future left in it. I love Patreon because reactors have a lot more freedom to express themselves, be authentic, and share the enjoyment of content with others. I still only have 4 of you on Patreon because I'm being careful with money, but I feel I've chosen the best reactors for me, going by personality and content both. I know there are other series I would *love* to see you do, but I respect that you are direct and honest about what you don't want to watch, and a few of those titles are no-go. That is alright, because I look forward to what you *are* going to give us and what you give us now (this series and Young Sheldon in particular). I've noticed you don't seem to have interest in any supernatural TV series that's been mentioned, BUT you did say you were going more of a horror movie direction come October, and I'm *really* excited for that! So although the supernatural series (my favorite genre, LOL) are out, I am happy about what is to come on this channel. PS: I'm also excited for the upcoming Spirited Away! Great movie.

And I can't believe it took me this long, but I JUST realized why they always go to McLaren's Pub; it's literally located at the bottom of the stairs where Marshall, Ted, and (before that season finale) Lily live.

Mira Silverthorn

I remember when this first came out. Lily lost soooo many fans. And I interact with fandoms often, they can be RUTHLESS. It wasn't that she wanted to be a painter. Its that she couldnt promise she'd come back if she finds success. Plus there's making mistakes...and then there's hurting everyone around you. Also no need to be sorry about a medical issue. No one chooses to have a medical problem, but it happens and stuff gets delayed. It sucks, but people's health should be a priority

Ted toxic??? If she doesn't know the answer it's not real love what she feels. And why should Ted waste time with a relationship that isn't based on real love? It's totally understandable that he wanted right there the answer. Thinking for 5 or 10 minutes is ofcourse okay but if she needs to think longer then that I don't think the love is real.

That whole mindset you just gave is toxic lol. Robin owed Ted nothing. If she isn’t ready for a relationship then that’s what it is. Clearly they are in one now but Ted having that need to be with someone in order to feel self worth is toxic. End of story

Ted is the most toxic person on this show... Just because Robin couldn't give an answer here and now (especially after what he did - lying about breaking up with Victoria), doesn't mean she doesn't feel it. She may be sure about her feelings, but not necessarily about whether she wants to be with him. Many people love people they shouldn't be with, but they follow their hearts without thinking, and this is how toxic relationships develop. Love alone is not always enough. Unfortunately, there are other important things in life and if we sacrifice everything for the relationship (or the other person sacrifices it), we will not be happy. and just because she would go to camp and even go on a date with someone else (they won't be in a relationship yet) doesn't mean she would go to bed with this guy...

Thomas
>>118002049

He didn't asked her to go to bed with him. He asked for a relationship. And beside feelings are only your morals and future perspective important the other things you can create together.

Thomas
>>118002049

A real relationship is not something you find. It's something you create from the love you feel for each other. And that's only possible if you want the same things from life. That's how I see a relationship. So agree to disagree 🙂 It doesn't have to be that complex.

Angel90
>>118002049

when writing about "going to bed" I meant her colleague from work, with whom she agreed to go to dinner during the trip. Ted acted as if she had done something wrong by agreeing to go on a date with him (even though she was single when she said yes) and as if having dinner with him was equivalent to her jumping into bed with him.

Thomas
>>118002049

I agree with you that Robin was totally in het right to say yes to a dinner with that creep 😅 And yes Ted could have reacted a little different. But I can also understand his side. Love can make you do weird things if you scared to lose it. Even though he really never had ik before.

No matter how many times I've seen that scene with Marshall sat on the porch in the rain, it always reduces me to crying my eyes out.

Matthew Nurse

i may be an ass but lily is the worst and most selfish character on the show you had your entire life to do this

Hannah Saadallah

Barney is the worst person on the show lol and the whole point of her story arc is she didn't have her whole life to do this...she went from high school to the most serious relationship you can be in.

Hannah Saadallah
>>118002049

Robin was within her right to say no, not yet, or she isn't ready to Ted, it has nothing to do with Sandy, at the end of the day
