Age old question after a break up, what do u do with the stuff? Get rid, give back, or keep as a parting gift? But in that case Robin and Ted aren't married or live together ( officially) so you can't dictate what possessions your BF or GF has regardless where they came from. The car episode, I still have my chef unifirm when i was in college, still fits. I work in the hospitality industry. Barney was on point on why Ted and Robin truthfully didnt want to move in together. When you're ready you either make room for the other persons stuff, or you both move into a new apartment (or flat, I'm British, lol) together. Another great reaction Cody you never fail to be legendary.
