I actually grew up in Pasadena for 17 years from when my parents got remarried when I was 7 to my moms unfortunate passing in 2010. It was pretty great city

Sometimes, all the love in the world isn't going to be enough if the person don't want to help themself. Take care of yourself and take the time to heal. I witnessed a toxic relationship between my mother and father for years... it is a really hard thing to see so I can't even imagine living it myself. You are such a kind soul, don't destroy yourself over such things. I do hope he will realize that he needs to start his healing journey for his sakes. And you went above and beyond for him, the cards are in his hands now. All my love to you Cody <3

You are not dumb. I am so sorry about all of this. It takes a lot for a person to change, but that doesn't mean we don't want them to. I am really, truly sorry, all of this happened

Joker

I wish I can just hug you right now. I hope you continue to mentally and emotionally recover from this. We love and appreciate you, Cody. 💜🙏🏼💜

I'm really happy you got out the that situation Cody, I can't imagine what you were going through beyond the camera :( You've got all of our support, love, and patience, and I hope things get better for you from now on 💖

Raga Gopalakrishnan

I wish I could call you and talk or meet you and give you a big hug. Like you said, you’re going to come out of this a better person. My job keeps me very busy (assistant professor at a business school) and I don’t comment here often (I guess that makes me a “lurker”, LOL), but know that I’m here and I’m listening. Many times it’s one of your videos that really helps me wind down at the end of a long day and relax into bed. You are a good person. Your warmth and kindness shines through even when you yourself are in pain, you embrace all of us as your extended family with open arms. Please take a break from reactions (unless it helps you in any way to take your mind off things) and all the time you need to heal. Much love, and take care. ❤️🤗❤️

Cody, I’ve never been in a toxic romantic relationship or in any romantic relationship at all but, I know what it’s like to be in a toxic friendship, I used to have a friend who was my best friend, but he didn’t share his part of the friendship sometimes and there would be times where we would split but, then become friends again, he stopped being friends with me in 2022 officially for good, while I felt relieved, I did feel sad because he kinda left me behind. I know what it is like to know and care about someone who turned out not to be the person you once thought. He had a lot of mental health issues and his father had passed around that same month, I really don’t know exactly what encouraged him to end the friendship but, he was going through so much at the time. I’ve tried to help him as much as I could like how you tried with Lamar, I listened to every single problem he had, he always had negative thoughts and I tried to keep him positive but, I couldn’t do anything unfortunately. What I can say is that in my own personal experience and this goes for anyone going through this as well, despite my friend leaving me behind, not even for a good reason, he had a reason but, not a great one, what it taught me was how to process people officially leaving and how to move on, it took a while but, one year later, I’m happier and I’m more optimistic, I’ve got a new friend now and I’m still making friends as best as I can wherever I go. My point is that you’ll get through this transition on from life, the emotional experience only inspires you to become a stronger person, that’s at least what I’ve learned through my own experience.

Also, to add on for the reaction portion of the episodes, loved your reaction, I almost didn’t recognize but, the baseball trophy store guy is Louie Anderson, I don’t know how many of you know him but, I knew him from Family Feud because he used to host it years before Steve started to host and was even a contestant a few years ago, he died in 2021 or 2022 unfortunately but, he was a great host on Family Feud.

Cody, there is an amazing man out there waiting to love you. Somewhere. Don't sell yourself short. You've still got many years ahead, and so much love to give. All you need is the right person to give it to. And he will come along. Be patient and cautious. The world is full of jerks, which can make it difficult to find the good people in that mix. Meanwhile, we're all here, and we all have life issues we go through, so no one here is upset at you for not keeping to the schedule. Life happens, schedules get skewed. I hope you find your peace.

WarioLandGP

when you said "I woke up feeling happy for the first time in a year" - gosh, that hits hard... take care of yourself, Cody.

Chris

Sorry to hear about what's been going on. I'm really curious to see what you think of George and Mary over the next few seasons of this show with you your experiences that you've mentioned lately. Also, loved the George and sheldon trip and him getting him to settle down on that plane. Mary would have taken him right off it. I always wondered if sheldon would have been more well adjusted as an adult if his dad hadn't passed away so young.

Kaylee Smeaton

I've just got to this reaction. I just want to say I'm sorry this has been happening to you. Thinking of you, sweetie. Sending much love & positivity from someone who struggles with anxiety and depression and has autistic spectrum disorder, in the UK.

Holly Holmes

Bless your heart Cody, I'm sorry you had to go through that with Lamar. I hope you are taking time to focus on healing. I don't know about being in an abusive relationship but I DO know how rough living with depression and PTSD is - I have suffered from severe depression, PTSD and multiple phobias for nine years, so I know how easy feelings of hopelessness and sadness can be triggered. You are doing soooo well (you should be proud of yourself) and I am happy you broke free from a toxic relationship.
