he main female protagonist of the Maison Ikkoku series. Initially presented as a 21-year-old young lady, she takes on the tough task of managing the broken-down boarding house, Maison Ikkoku.

Unfortunately, she misstepped when removing snow from the roof...

My new neighbour had a really bad acciedent, the doctor asked me if they could borrow a western style bed. Later I learned that the young miss Otonashi had broken both her legs whenn she fell of the roof and they had to secure her legs. She will be literally bound to her bed for the next weeks. I sohuld make sure to visit her and see if she needs anything. it s the least I can do as good neighbour.

After 6 weeks Miss Otonashi was allowed to leave the bed. She is learning how to use a wheelchair. I brought her a present, I think she likes them.

I came again to bring Kyoko flowers. I believe she likes them. I like to look at them as well.

It s summer now, Kyoko is already hobbeling around again, trying too do the housework as best as possible with her casted feet. The heat is giving her trouble, but she still insists on treating me for lunch as thank you for helong her in the past month. If she knew just lookign at her like this is more than ample reward. After the lunch I usually use my chop sticks to sketch her feet trapped inside the hot casts...
