Good, Candy is finally awake. But . . .

I changed the format and cut the page this time. It is called webtoon format, but on Patreon it makes an awkward reading experience when I use my mobile devices - the resolution is low. I hope this works better.

Next week I will continue Amber and Nina's story and do the fighter Illustration.

Fabio - Scarponata

Wow, there are no words to describe the artistry of these strips! The images of Candy's expression, horrified, looking at her poor feet literally turned upside down (with her heels pointing to the sky...) is just striking. Even when she whimpers with her face sunk into Yumi's chest, rushed to her rescue. The lovely Yumi who, while doing her best to try to console her distraught friend, is perhaps giving a little thought to those 'killer heels' that in the coming weeks (months) could actually come in handy for her, since for Candy - after the inevitable plaster casts - there will only be flat shoes for who knows how long... The whole thing is so beautiful. Even, and especially, the last scene with Candy sedated in her hospital bed under Yumi's watchful eye. Just one question in this last regard... Is it possible to see the whole scene, meaning Candy's entire figure with both casted legs in traction? It's such a beautiful image that it would be worth admiring the other (big) leg in all its 'glory' as well...

Looking back at the scene, on second thought, it became clear to me what Yumi is thinking about.... As she caresses poor Candy's head and face (shattered and still reeling from vomiting), she urges her not to look at the 'sight' of her poor feet. While attempting to comfort Candy, however, she lets slip "Gee, luckily they didn't break!" She evidently has on her mind not poor Candy's feet, but the 'killer heels' that, strangely enough, miraculously 'survived' the disastrous fall down the inclined ladder. It would come as no surprise if those very same 'killer heels' in the following months made a fine display at Yumi's feet...
