Might have ruined the relationship after trying to organize boxing fights between my family and my partners family. (I really wanted my dad versus her mom) I’ve been working toward this for months getting venues sorted out but when I finally broke the news it started a big fight… any advice?

Hi Eden you’re the best, but anyway I’m in a love triangle recycling symbol style. Help me please how do I break out of the loop without causing the other two to start dating because I don’t want that for selfish reasons but also like they wouldn’t work in the long run.

alijah

not a question or a problem, just a silly story to share- About a year and a half ago I was on tinder and had mention of Hivemind in my profile. I matched with a guy who also liked Hivemind and we chatted about it a bit, and I was really into him. He was gonna come to my house, so I cleaned my house extra and let my roommates know. He said he was on his way, but he never showed up and never texted me back. I am in a happy relationship now, but he still views my snapchat stories and I just think “haha you suck”.

i’ve been in a long distance relationship for about 9 months, i love the girl but one thing is she’s always “sleeping.” i feel like she hasn’t done anything to betray my trust thus far but like i know the trope of if she says she’s sleeping a lot she’s lying… maybe im paranoid idk

Eden!! I'm falling for my best friend and I am all out of sorts!!! I'm too scared to say anything because I don't want to ruin the friendship but it's getting to a point where I am comparing everyone I go on dates with to her (and they all pale in comparison). How do I deal with being hyperaware that I'm in the middle of a queer canon event, and am I supposed to just lay low 'til the crush goes away?

Mallow

Hey Eden! After getting out of a pretty rough relationship I feel like I've lost my enjoyment or interest in a lot of things I used to be passionate about and it's not in like in a missing them way, it just feels like I left a part of myself with them. I was wondering if you have any pointers for that? Does it just come with time or am I putting too much pressure on myself with all of this? Thank you!

Mistake to date coworker ????

How do I love my girlfriend since she turned into a worm?

Ssouplady

Hey Eden, I’m 27F and have been single for a while (got out of a long term relationship maybe 5 years ago) and have been more or less single ever since. My problem is that I enjoy being alone and the people I’ve met or dated haven’t made me feel like I like being with them more than being alone. I don’t really want to be single forever but I won’t settle. Any advice? I also struggle to meet people, dating apps in my town aren’t enjoyable to be on so I’ve deleted those but when I meet people in person I always default to friend and don’t peruse any romantic interest with them

Criz

How to deal with my girlfriend not realizing she’s my girlfriend, for example when ever i follow her home she runs and screams away from me. Thanks in advance

codyodyody

hey eden, chronically single here. how do pull bitches

nina

Eden, it’s rough out here. I’m into a guy but he’s incredibly shy and we’ve said maybe 2 words to eachother since starting college in September. However, I get on really well with his (fraternal) twin brother. Is it a terrible idea to start a friendship with the twin while harbouring a secret love for his sibling..? I don’t want him to think I’m using him to get to his brother, but i mean it would definitely lead to us talking more, especially if i go round theirs to study. would that be weird though? thanks!

20F in a long distance relationship for going on 2 and a half years now. He’s in England and I’m in the states. I love him so much, but my adhd and object permanence issues makes it really hard for me to keep my attention on him and really grow the relationship the way I want to when he’s so far away. We’re both struggling with money and it’s not a guarantee we’ll meet in person any time soon, but even so, I wanna have hope that we’re going to be something that is in person one day because I really do love him. I just can’t do this over the phone forever. Do I stick it out regardless of whether we’re able to meet physically any time in the near future or not?

ava

how do u tell if someone likes you or if they just treat everyone like that

Jecc Reemmcouy

Hey Eden, I broke up with my ex girlfriend a few months ago and as soon as it happened she accused all of our mutual friends of homewrecking. Recently I started having feelings for one of these friends and have it on decent authority that its mutual, but due to how my last relationship ended, their connection to the breakup, and the fact that dating them would require me to come out to people around me, I don't know what to do.

Hannah Hey

thoughts on open relationships? im in my first one ever and am happy! i'm learning that my relationship style can fluxuate since i have only ever been monogamous in previous relationships and that was what i wanted at the time.

alex

my ex of 3 years broke up with me bc i was “too much” and needed to love myself more and that he needed to mature but also said he wanted to try again someday and still texts every once in a while checking in and it’s just so ???????? it’s been almost a year and i’m seeing other people bc a bitch don’t wait around for a MAN but like why still contact me like that it’s kinda evil but im also like okay so i’m still rent free in there huh? would love to hear your thoughts

Vito Vigliensoni

what do you do if you're currently attracted to someone that looks identical to your ex 😭😭😭

marty

I’m not Eden BUT I know three couples who each met at the company where we all used to work - all three are now happily married! If there’s no work policy you’re violating by dating and the person is not your direct report or manager, I say go for it.

abby cap

i just did this, stare at them for an hour and then make a silly joke and ask them

asa

thank you abby you have given me the courage. I hope your barista bae works out for you

Em

how do i say i love you to my bf

Evster Gaming

How do I find the love of my life while maintaining my introverted, hybernated, antisocial lifestyle. For context I never leave my basement and I play just as many hour of video games as I work IRL. I thought a 5’4 blonde baddie would have spawned in my house by now but apparently people are saying I have to go outside. I just don’t think this is true so do you have any tips to speed up the spawn in process so I can have a family before I die. Thanks! Names Evan btw 24M

Seth

What are some ways to meet new people to potentially date if you don't drink alcohol as someone out of college? I find it weird to just approach women in public especially when I don't know their age or relationship status. It's hard outside of dating apps which is another beast in its own but I at least know the girls are my age and into me. So what do you recommend to put myself out there more.

BDBrennan10

Hey idk but me and my gf need Halloween costume ideas, this could be from anyone honestly but I want Eden’s ideas

asa

Abby it worked we are going on a date before she leaves for France for a month thank you

Diet Water’s Corpse

I’m considering proposing to my girlfriend soon, do you think it’s actually important to ask the parents for their “blessing?” Also, is a public proposal something that most women envision, or would a private moment be acceptable?

abby cap

congrats king!!!
