We're watching Godzilla vs. Kong tonight at 6PM Pacific! Zoom link is above. Please click on it at 6PM Pacific. Here's how it works:

-You MUST have an HBO Max subscription for this to work (If you don't live in the US, sorry, I don't know what service this movie is playing on if any!)-At about 10 minutes after 6PM Pacific, we will all start the movie simultaneously. If you don't make it in time for the movie start, you can still join us for the post-movie conversation! The movie's runtime is 1 hour and 53 minutes.-During the movie, we will turn off video/microphone and use the Zoom chat to discuss the movie for those who wish to. You are of course always welcome to just watch the movie.-After the movie, we'll all hop on the Zoom call and talk about what we thought.-I will record the conversation and publish it on the Patreon afterwards.

Hope to see y'all there! The last few we've done have been really enjoyable.

Just finished rewatching 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' to prepare for the Godzilla vs. Kong watch-along tonight. While nothing more could be said about the film that you didn't cover in the Slashfilmcast episode, the end credits offered some fun, funny, and revealing newspaper headlines. I decided to write most of them down as a possible point of discussion before the movie tonight: (the Titans' impact on Earth) - Mysterious Rainforest Blooms in Sahara Desert - Godzilla's Path Through Pacific Bringing Life Back to Reefs, Restoring Fish Populations - Godzilla Keeps Titans in Check: King of the Monsters defends cities from attacks, keeps 'natural order' - 'Behemoth' Titan Restores Deforested Regions of Amazon - Scylla Slows Ice Melt in Antarctica, Stabilizing Sea Levels - As Ecosystems Heal, 14 Species Taken off Endangered List - Titan Waste Could Be Viable Energy Source (my personal fave!) - Are Prehistoric Plants New Superfood? (setting up the sequel) - Seismic Disturbances Reported on Skull Island - New Titans Drawn to Skull Island - Monarch Boosts Forces Around Skull Island - Monarch Finds Massive Egg: Could giant insect egg be a second Mothra ... or something else? - Ancient 'Hollow Earth' Humans Coexisted with Titans - Monarch to Explore Hollow Earth: Monster hunters seek origins of Titans below Skull Island - What is a King to a God?
