And of course, your discussions with Joy are to die for! 😊 You’re at such an exciting inflection point in your life and career right now. I am sure iit is simultaneously exhilarating and scary. With regards to the choices you make, I can’t help but think of one of my favorite quotes from Stephen Pressfield’s “The War of Art.” It basically goes something like this: “the more afraid we are of a particular calling, the more certain we can be It is one that we should follow.” Or something like that. You have a community that supports you, a wife that supports you, projects that you are clearly passionate about, aa proven ability to generate revenue from that art, no kids yet, and a résumé that could probably make it pretty easy for you to go back into a full-time job if you should ever have to. Life is short my friend! Carpe diem! 😊 Good luck and Godspeed with whatever you decide. Can’t wait to see where you take it.

It’s odd, because we don’t really “know” each other, but I think for your followers and listeners, you’re like a friend from a distant land—the kind you hang out with and have meaningful and entertaining conversations with. Your work is impactful and honestly, backing you is like buying you lunch once in awhile while you generously share your world with us. Would I pay to come to your living funeral? Yeah. Probably. Because you should be celebrated. Would I need to do so at the $20/month level? Certainly worth considering. As an aspiring creator with a family and full time, senior level job, I can fully empathize with your predicament. But please don’t ever apologize about us paying you. Your voice is worth more to us than what amounts to getting coffee once in awhile, and ultimately more enriching. I can’t wait to see what you do next because I’m sure it’ll be great and from the heart.
