Tonight, @joyonapping and I went to go see Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. It was one of Joy's most anticipated films of the year and in this bonus audio that we recorded on the way home from the theater, she explains why that's the case. Then at around 4:25, we get into SPOILERS and talk about why the ending of this movie is so exciting.

Listening on my way to another county for work… because of Joy’s enthusiasm I had to stop before spoilers with a, “Well damn it, now I have to go see this.” Thanks for sharing. I love that you both enjoyed it! I also think it's fine, but you know what that's perfectly good for robots beating the crap out of one another! Getting rid of the Bayisms will actually make this far more rewatchable at home. Bay gave the movies personality for sure, but it was exhausting on rewatch.

So so worth it. On the way out one of the kids that was sitting behind me did a little spin in the hall and grabbed his wrist and balled his fist with a “pew pew pew” and started making explosion sounds like he was a transformer. Amazing. I have to thank you - because of your enthusiasm I decided to treat myself with a viewing… and I got to experience that moment because of it, a past me for a few moments… I’m still smiling. Epic.
