Dave on Dave is an ongoing series in which David Cho and David Chen gather together to discuss life and work. Also, usually David Cho has some harsh words to say about David Chen's stuff!

I had to miss the Live for a work event but this was awesome on rewatch! Really enjoyed the different directions the conversation took based on listener questions, which I think reinforces the “here for the hang” paradigm

Just want to echo what Carole already said. Dang, but I regret I wasn’t able to hang with y’all live, but even afterward I enjoyed the “looseness” (for lack of a better word) of the format and the sense of direct engagement with viewers/listeners. Will make it a priority to attend another one of these live-casts!

Best episode of Dave on Dave in a long time!! I mean I enjoy them all - but this one had a LOT of great moments. I think perhaps via the pressure cooker & serendipitous nature of doing it live…. but also bc of the unexpected listener questions. Wanted to say also - idea for format tweak - maybe answer a question or two each convo (even if they’re sent in ahead of time). I think a little of this could go a long way in ensuring things don’t tread the same trodden trails of Dave daving against Dave’s daveness (and vice versa) Final note - it’s always really great to hear Dave Cho’s “work” take on things. Eg his amazing synopsis of why big media brands are in trouble. Would love more of this. I feel like both of you guys have a really amazing professional experience, which is always fascinating to hear about.

Wait I am just now learning that David Cho from Dave on Dave is the same David that talks to Alison Roman from off-camera on Home Movies. This is really blowing my mind.
