Season 2 already! I can't believe it. Thank you so much for joining me in Season 1, I can't wait to show you what Season 2 has in store!

First, housekeeping: As you can see, I've changed the episode numbering format to a decimal format. This is a nod to the technical subject matter of the show, I'm using a standard numbering system called Semver, semantic versioning. Most commonly in 3 parts: 1.3.2. Major.Minor.Patch. For us, the major version is the season, the minor is the episode, and the patch (optional) will hopefully not be needed, I'll use it for re-releases and correcting errors.

Thank you everyone who voted on the video/longer episodes poll. While the poll showed a clear result for a preference for longer episodes, I will do BOTH!

The latest episode is 16 minutes long, double the average length of season 1. My goal for season 1 had been 10-minute episodes, and now my goal is 20-minute episodes. Episode 2 should be longer, I've recalibrated my word count to 2,000 words for it, which should be very close to 20 minutes, depending on the music track.

Lets talk about the music. In season 1 I wasn't brave enough to run a whole track in the 4th act of the 5-act episodes, but now they are longer, I am.  I want to share my whole creative output with you in the show, and that includes music! The backing music remains my ambient album Supervised Learning, and I'm taking the SIGNAL music from my latest album, C0ast.

Thank you all, see you next week! <3
