(production notes) Episode 2.2 (Patreon)

Sorry about the late video today! What a weekend I've had. Nothing bad, lots of good stuff, but HECTIC!

I feel so much better having finally got the episode out. It's always in the back of my mind.

I recorded it on Sunday evening, and I was TIRED. I usually re-record lines I get wrong etc, that's what editing is for. But this time, my recording was TWICE the length of the episode. I was making mistakes so often! Mispronouncing easy words and sentences! I eventually got to the version you'll have heard, but it was a lot more work.

The lesson here, don't do work when you're tired. In the future, I'll get these things done earlier.

The videos I was so worried about are becoming much easier, I'm really getting into the swing of things. Even going so far as to nail this one in ONE TAKE, a previously unheard-of feat. I'm very pleased about that, especially with the new, longer format.

Not quite as long as I'd like, I think it must be because I'm speaking slightly too fast. My wordcount is correct, so I'll fix that in the next one. See you next week! <3
