(production-notes) Episode 2.7 (Patreon)

Morning friends! Video delayed until lunchtime UTC today, apologies. I'll push out the transcript then too.

This was a very challenging episode to write for me. The nature of the podcast, deliberately, is that Seth very rarely describes things as they happen.

The format of the podcast is a monologue, which I think are typically in the past tense. This allows Seth to describe things that have happened to him, and no matter who he talks to, we hear their words in Seth's voice.

With today's journey, both Seth and I had to leave our comfort zones! Most of the episode is in present tense, as Seth describes to us what he is seeing through Maddie's cameras.

This is a technique I expect to employ now and again, but most of the podcast (including next week's) returns to the standard seth-telling-us-what-happened format.
