(production-notes) Episode 3.1 (Patreon)
Content
Sorry this is late in the day folks, WELCOME TO SEASON 3.0! So excited to show you more of the world, now that Seth can talk to everyone again.
First, this is the first episode of Lost Terminal (including the unpublished pilot that eventually morphed into episode 1) that doesn't have a scrolling-text video. I've explained in a previous post (https://www.patreon.com/posts/45355909), but the main reason is that not many people listen to the show on YouTube, and yet it takes the longest to produce. So, they're on pause. I will still publish videos there (today's is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-RQrGBReh0 for instance), but the are not animated.
And secondly I'm so excited to talk about something long in the making - the ESA signals document and Station 6 Blueprint (I don't really know what to call this!). If you're reading this, patreon should have asked you for your shipping address, this is because it's a free gift for all my patrons - new and old!
The pack I will send you in a manilla folder is what Seth's ground control in Frankfurt would have received during Season 1.0. I've also commissioned Lost Terminal artist Carl Huber (carlh.com) to imagine what Station 6 might look like in blueprint form. Of course, as a radio show, no image can be canonical, everyone's imagination of what Station 6 looks like is true for them. Even the official album art isn't right - as an example, the little green satellite in the Season 1.0 artwork is TINY. But it is cute, which is perhaps just as important.
Keep an eye on twitter, I'll share more details during the 2-week campaign, and I'll be in touch about shipping.
Happy new year! <3
