(production notes) Episode 3.8 (Patreon)

Sorry this one published late - this time it's not my fault! The Spreaker website, my podcast host, went down juuuust as I wanted to publish, a little before 8am London time. However, by 8:30 they'd fixed their site so maybe no-one noticed...?

More of the two Seths talking to each other in this one. I hope it's clear who is who, the static on Seth Prime's voice is pretty clear. Also he's got a different way of speaking, have you noticed? I went back to season 1 and copied the more computer-y, flat performance from there.
As the seasons have gone on, I've included more colloquialisms and human-like figures of speech in Seth's dialogue, as he learns more and becomes more human. Talking to Alexander and family accelerated this hugely, but his brother has none of this experience, and so still talks more like a computer.

Radiation's a hell of a thing isn't it? My understanding is that tiny animals, ants and such, basically are unaffected by levels that would be lethal to us.
This is one of the reasons that the area around Chernobyl is basically a wildlife park now. Some of my friends visit now and then on scheduled tours, and the photos they bring back are incredible. It really shows that the Earth won't miss us when we're gone! That could be the subtitle of this show, actually...
