Welcome to season 6.0!

Thank you so much for your patience while I prepared this season. As you know, I write Lost Terminal to a quarterly schedule (4 ten-episode seasons a year), which gives me a few weeks off to recover and re-focus. Also this last break I got married to Lucy and went on honeymoon - an astonishingly good piece of luck that they co-incided!

Writing again over the last two weeks has been like seeing an old friend again. We've caught up, discovered why we like each other's company, and also been reminded of the other's foibles!

I have started using a new writing system. Before I was writing org-mode files in emacs. If you don't know what either of those things are, honestly, you don't need to.  It's an editor I use at work for programming, so it was easy to use for writing. Also very nerdy, which is good.

HOWEVER I have recently switched, after much dithering, to Obsidian.md.

This is a markdown editor with a LOT of great features, like tags, dates, outlines, todos, syncing - the works. It's billed as a personal notes app, like a second brain. If you've used Notion.so or Evernote, it's like that, but fits my brain better.

I have a plan to do a video explaining how I use Obsidian to write, would you be interested in that?

I actually wrote a different track for today's episode, but I hated it. So I wrote "There Is No One Here" in 10 minutes. It's so wonderful when a stream-of-conciousness comes out fully formed ready for recording! Wish that worked every time...!

I'm excited to introduce you to the new characters that are hinted at in this episode. Talk to you next week!
