[production-notes] Episode 8.10 (Patreon)

It's done!

Thank you all for being here for another season, the story's really opening up now, and I've plans to explore even more of the world and the people in it, next season. (which by the way the premiere discord party will be on Sunday the 3rd of June - mark it in your calendar now!)

Speaking of the premiere party...

I HAD SUCH A FUN TIME!

Thank you so much to the 7 patrons who joined and chatted! I've never done anything like this, and it was so good!

Big thanks to Lewis for testing the music playback bot (Hydra), that went pretty well too I think. A few skips here and there, but worth it for synchronised playback.

If you couldn't make the livestream, fear not! I will livestream the premiere of 9.1 on Sunday the 3rd of July!

This episode was fun to produce. The FAILSAFE's voice is actually mostly just me speaking in a creaky lower register, but I put some hot distortion on it for good measure. I really like how it came out, big Kylo Ren vibes!

---

I'm delighted to introduce Carin C, the voice of 50Meg. Carin (who was on the stream with us last night!) is lined up to perform the whole 50Meg special season, which is planned to come after the season that comes AFTER Heliophage. Make sure you're subscribed at AMIGA tier or higher for when that drops!

Thank you all so much for two whole years of podcasting, I feel like it's both flown by and also seems so long ago. 4 seasons a year really gets STUFF done! I have no plans to stop, and will continue as long as people like what I'm making.

Love you all, and see you on the 3rd of July for the premiere! OH NO I HAVE TO WRITE IT NOW
