[production-notes] Episode 10.3 (Patreon)

As promised, 10.3 was nearly a week early for patrons, and 10.4 should be too! I've really got on top of my schedule, it feels SO GOOD to have more time to do things, and take care, and make LT the best it can be.

---

THAT BEING SAID there's a bug in the video, I hope you wouldn't have spotted it without me pointing it out: The (PLAYSTREAM) text for the signal is a placeholder, I usually insert a device that makes sense to be 'listening' to in the story. Woops!

---

Let me talk about this process:

The SIGNAL, in my mind, has always been Seth hearing some sound or radio pulse he is hearing, interpreted through his over-active imagination. So a weather report could sound like music, or vice versa! Of course, what it ACTUALLY is, is an excuse for me to write new music every single week of the year.

I started LT thinking that it would be a fun place to showcase my music. Oh how the tables have turned! Now I write music for the show, and it's more satisfying than I'd ever have imagined!

LT is a combination of all the things I love:
0. Nerdy references
1. Fiction writing
2. Science & technology
3. Programming
4. Music composition
5. Sound design & editing
6. Mental health
7. Public Speaking (ie, the sound of my own voice!)

I'm so grateful for you, my incredible patrons, for this project, without which I might not have stuck it out for so long!

Thank you, and talk to you next week <3
