[production-notes] 13.10 + Season wrap-up (Patreon)
Content
THAT'S A WRAP FOLKS!
Thank you so much for joining me for another season, and what a season! I've said it before, but I'll say it again: You're listening to me learn how to be a writer, performer, and producer all in real-time! Each season, I push myself outside my comfort zone again and again, and I'm so happy with how the show is turning out.
Thank you so much for your support.
What's next? I gave a few hints to those who could make the Finale Party on Sunday, where we had record-breaking numbers, nearly 20 lovely people hung out, listened to the episode (after a few technical hitches!) and chatted about anything and everything, including what's next...
---
Lyosha has had some "HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA" as the livestream patrons called it! How nice, after years of nomadic life on board his family's train, The Provorny, to find a school of similarly-aged teenagers to be friends with!
Iris and Arctica are an unlikely duo, but as AMIGAs and higher tiers will hear in the Iris Special (publishing today), she's had similar challenges to Arctica, in fact, their similarities caused much of their friction!
Winter is finally here, and an Arctic winter is severe. I've shied away from depicting a Novamediterran winter before because, of course, the sun won't rise for months, what will that do for Seth's solar power?! Other power options are available, of course, and you may start placing your bets now on what Seth will use!
---
In the finale party, I also announced the next special season, to follow Heliophage and 41:South, THE 50 MEG SEASON!
Karl, writer and performer of Heliophage, is returning as writer, and Carin, original performer of the 50 Meg special (go back and listen to it!) returns as performer - and I couldn't be more excited!
We're recording this weekend, if all goes well, and everyone will hear the first episode for free in the main feed before the start of season 14.0!
---
I also announced a totally new podcast, written by me and performed by my friend Reece (the voice of Antarctica/Arctica!).
It's in pre-production at the moment, the pilot is written, and I hope to cross-post it into the Lost Terminal feed this month. It's called The Phosphene Catalogue, and is extremely spooky, watch out for it...
---
I'll finish with the in-episode season wrap-up, in case you missed it:
Hi friends Tris here, aka NAMTAO aka the little AI preparing for winter.
I've got some news and promotions for you, here in my post-season-wrap up.
Apart from the other talent you've heard today,
I'm the sole writer and producer of Lost Terminal, and it's possible thanks to listeners like you.
If you love the show and would like more, then for less than the price of a jar of honey per month, you can get
- exclusive access to director's commentary (which I publish alongside every episode),
- free shirts and other merch,
- early episode access,
- Character suggestions - bring your ideas to Lost Terminal,
- Discord server VIP access,
- and bonus content such as the Iris Special, which you heard the start of just now.
Thank you so much for your support of the show, 13 seasons done, and I'm already writing season 14, you're going to LOVE it.
UPDATES:
I am returning to Dragonmeet, here in London on Saturday the 2nd of December, come look for me in the lower hall and pick up a free 1-page Lost Terminal RPG! I'll also be bringing SNAX!
I am recording the first episode of the 3rd entirely new Lost Terminal Patreon podcast this week, following on from Heliophage and 41:South.
As before, the 10-episode season will roll out monthly, and follow someone experiencing a very different side of the Post-collapse world than Seth sees.
The first episode will be public in the main feed, before season 14 drops. Look out for it this month!
Thank you all so much for your support, reviews, and lovely messages.
Keep an eye on, Mastodon, Discord, and Patreon for announcements,
talk to you again on the 6th of November! <3
