im imagine the training program kicking in randomly like them sitting in the office at their desk checking their makeup. imagine a male coworker not knowing who the are, invite them out to a movie that they want to se like a scifi movie. not thinking like a girl they accept not realizing it is a date.

It could be seen that way, but we don't definitively see that's what happened, it might've been an assumption because of his appearance instead of his attempt to disguise his new voice. Safe to say though, I know the webcam being on is way more likely, but it would be a fun twist if that wasn't the case. 😊
