Tongue like sandpaper, body hurting, delirious spells and blackouts… Oooof, menopause is rough, Elena. Johanna (if, indeed, it was her off-screen) is certainly the bigger mystery here. But she wasn’t wrong, those surgeons seem to know exactly what a woman like Elena needs! Given the chapter title, I suspect Elena is going to discover more of her “real life”. If this is the route this story is taking, I’m intrigued. Given just how easy misinformation is these days or things like DeepFake, AI voice generation, and social media to create a whole “life”, I’ve always wondered why they haven’t been used much in these kind of stories. Photos, sure, but those are easy to fake now, but showing them videos in motion with speech and everything? That’d mess with MY head, that’s for sure! “You say you’re not this person but here’s evidence of an entire life lived…” Whatever is in store though, I can’t wait! EDIT: Or, new theory: there’s no need to fake any of that at all. Maybe they’re pulling a Hitchcock’s Vertigo. Elena could have been a real person, but the family lost her some time ago and this is their way of bringing her back. The series does have Mirror in the name, after all! One question that does nag at me this part, though, is what language is “ Elena” speaking? Because I think their Greek is going to get a lot better…

This hasn't forwarded the story very much but it sure has added to the mystery of just why Andrew has had his life upended and changed so much. Elena looks ... well, a LOT more feminine and a reversal is looking less likely. The hourglass figure is looking a bit 'later' and I'm guessing shortened Achilles tendons won't be easy to lengthen - it's high heels from now on. Love the stunning rendering of the images. I don't know what s/w Melissa uses but she certainly manipulates it to tremendous effect. However, I need more of this story and as soon as possible!

Now on a second view. Maybe that one day in the past was the point for Marina to turn against him without him realizing it. With the new "husband" it looks like Andrew is in for a good round of gaslighting :o

Interesting development. Given the length of "Elena's" hair and the time needed for healing from the surgeries, some time has apparently passed. Did they keep "Elena" hidden from Joel, whom I assume returned with Nikos? Speaking of Nikos, I'm ready to see him interact with his updated wife! In more ways than one... ;)
