So sorry for the delay, guys! 

I know this sounds kind of silly, but it took me so long to post again because of a problem with shoes. The pair of heels Elena is wearing in this part are not compatible with Pandora for Ellithia 8, which is Elena's base figure. I love those shoes. They're my favorites in my library, so I wanted her to wear them here.

After many days, I found a workaround to make this work out. It's not a perfect solution, but I think it's good enough. Sorry again, to make up for it, I plan to post the last part of "Xmas" and also a new part of "Journey" this week! :)

Elena looks incredible, Nikos is one lucky man......😘 I can't wait to find out the reasoning for her transformation and the part Marina played in all this, think Andrew is about to find out Marina has been keeping secrets from him, especially if she's at this party with her "husband" 😮

I hope Elena gets her mental health situation figured out. She's obviously always been Elena and any thoughts to the contrary should be ignored. She should just be the sexy and ultra feminine woman she's been all 55 years of her life. She needs to be a good role model for her daughters and plan a sexy surprise for her husband!

If it weren't for chapter 14 I would have assumed they prepared Andrew to be body swapped into Elenas body someway. That would easy explain the height difference and that his face barely looks similar anymore to his old one. I'm burning to see when he finds out the real truth and when the revelation hits Andrew that his role 'woman for a night' became his new life.

So so sooooo many questions after this release... 1. How did Andrew lose 4 inches of height??? 2. Just how long was "Elena" in the hospital? 3. Did Andrew lose his male voice? Isn't that one way to prove his real identity? 4. Wouldn't people that "Elena" met pre-surgery (e.g., Mr. Seferi, the party planner guy, Mrs. Petrou and her son) notice the rather drastic changes in her height and appearance? 5. What exactly happened to Phillip, the limo driver? 6. Who is Seferi's accomplice, and do they know "Elena's" secret? 7. Where are Marina and her "other" husband? 8. Where is Joel during all this? The events of the last couple chapters make me wonder if somehow the new "Elena" is somehow Andrew's consciousness in the old Elena's body and the disguise was just a practice run to get Andrew used to the mannerisms of a middle-aged woman. It seems as if we're drifting away from the "realism" of this story and into science fiction. What do I know, though? I'm just playing armchair quarterback here. I love love LOVE age progression stories, and this is one of the best ever. I'm just perplexed as to how all these disparate threads come together. I wonder if this upcoming party will answer any of these questions or raise even more. :)

"I need answers, and I need them tonight..." The party is coming and I think Elena's mind will be messed up more by what will happen in few hours. I like the way Melissa shows a deteail of Elena in every panel letting us discovering her slowly in an amazing crescendo. The dress, the stilettos and most of all the lipstick are all perfect!

I'm thinking that the existence of an original Elena is implied, who served as the template for Andrew's transformation. Original Elena (OE) likely was the biological mother of Elena and Sofia, and the love of Nikos's life. If Angeliki is correct, original Elena may have been "around" no more than 3 years ago. Then she could have just left the family, but perhaps more likely that OE died, and suddenly? If this idea is right, then the family's cruel treatment of Andrew may be significantly motivated by grief and obsession over the loss of OE.

I wonder if we'll see Dimitra or Joanna again? After all, a mature woman such as Elena needs some girls to brunch and gossip with... and if they're in on it, then Elena having a group she's been friends with for "years" with will further muddy the waters as to what Andrew believes is real. Also, I'm hoping we get to delve deeper into the mental toll all of this is having on Andrew, such as being told they always wear super high heels. I want to see what his reaction will be when he realises that he can walk in heels like a pro or perhaps during dinner, he finds himself reading perfect Greek from a menu where he otherwise couldn't. Maybe he finds himself signing something with his new signature as Elena Samaras without thinking about it or having knowledge about fashion and makeup brands he didn't before. Anything that really shows the psychological conflict of anything that has a clash of what Andrew thinks is real and any new skills or muscle memory that conflicts with his own memories and perception of self. EDIT: Also, I think I noticed an error on the previous part, image #534. Angeliki says "grummy" when it should be "grumpy", right?

Aargh! No answers - just a lot more questions. We still don't know either why or (perhaps even more intriguing) how Andrew's remarkable change to Elena was achieved. Not only does he have what appears to be a genuine Geek ID card but it shows him as being 100 mm shorter than he was formerly. Moreover, we still don't know Marina's part in this - does she really have another husband? Is Andrew's marriage a sham - or bigamy. Once more Melissa's rendering is superb - even to the reflection in the vase on panel 15. It really is wonderful stuff which draws us into the story - Melissa's best IMO.

After a second view I have a theory what might come. I think Andrew will see Marina again at the evening event with her new husband and everyone and everything around him will only reinforce the Elena role onto him until he himself is more or less convinced. Andrew/Elena has no other choice but to settle into her new life and forgot her pretty convincing fantasy of ever been a man. Marinas family has everything planned out but the surprise appearance of Mr Seferi, who might unknowingly bring back Andrews state of mind.

Sounds plausible but why take a man for this role? It seems inconvenient to gaslight an average man into the role of a mature woman and mother than someone who already has all the package and just needs the mental changes. Maybe Andrew is somehow connected/related to Toska and this all is a revenge plot against him considering Seferis backstory with that man. I love how much theorycrafting is possible after this chapters release :D

I think Marina has to acknowledge Andrew's former life because she and Andrew have family and friends who know the past. How she does that and explains it to Andrew, their families and friends is the question.

After being whipsawed through these wonderfully-staged slow reveals (wow Melissa!), I'm still trying to pin down what happened before the why. Arguing against magic or mind transfer or brain transplants, there are some consistent skin freckle patterns suggesting that it is Andrew's original body which has been massively upgraded. Freckles are small, and do not show perfectly in every possible image, but there are reasonably consistent ones on Andrew/Elena's left collarbone and right buttock as well as his/her right groin area. Look at images (left collarbone) 513vs.192, (right buttock) 532/512vs.206/35, and (3 freckles to right of right groin area) 514vs.214/197. It feels to me like Melissa would have removed these freckle consistencies if we weren't supposed to notice them. None of this can be ironclad of course, as skin freckle patterns might even be manipulated by a story villain as meticulous and diabolically tricky as Melissa herself, but I'm pretty persuaded. Credit to Asmodean for first mentioning "beauty marks" a few weeks back.

Inspired by Melissa I tried to create some scenes for a story of my own and it's quiet hard and frustrating if things don't work out as imagined. So I would guess technical difficulties, like with the heels maybe? :D
