I'm here for it. I do enjoy stories that end up sweet, but I like darker stuff too. Ends up permanently girly and ditzy? Yes please! Granted, that may not be where you're headed, but I would enjoy it for sure. Just as much as I enjoy the ones where they fight back and choose to stay female but without being forced anymore.
