Holiday Update (Patreon)

I'll keep this brief. I have two small videos I want(ed) to drop by Christmas. They're mostly done, just audio and little details to figure out. Was working hard to finish them both today to have things ready before meeting up with my family for the holiday.

Then my dad called. Tl;dr, my mom's been fighting cancer for almost a decade now, and just finished her second round of chemo. Results came in today, and it's not good. Spread to her kidneys and liver, the doctors gave her six months.

I have to be grateful for the time we've had, and I'm especially thankful for the support you've given me, which has allowed me to be as present and helpful in my mom's fight this entire time. I'm going to be leaving tomorrow to stay with them through the rest of the week, and will try finishing the videos as planned, but I hope you'll all share some grace over this holiday and permit a few unpolished details. I just couldn't bring myself to work anymore today after getting the news.
