The convo about the Ayers Rock and the Grand canyon is funny. But there's a million places to stay along the grand canyon and you can ride a burro on a trail, go river rafting, and lots of stuff like that. Take a plane ride. But I feel like Niagara Falls is similar to Ayers Rock, it's a waterfall. If it weren't surrounded by a hundred tourist traps, it would be boring as fuck. The fact that it's just over an hour drive from here makes it worse. The best part as a kid about Niagara falls was driving there at 18 to drink on the Canadian side and all you needed to get back was your licence. And the strip clubs on the Canadian side take it all off. So you could drink and see cooters at the same time. Today? No thanks, creepy as fuck, exploitative, etc but back then, let's gooooo to the falls. Lots of single purpose destinations around but they mostly have multiple resorts, camp sites, and other hangers on. Except Meteor Crater, lol, that shit is just a hole in the ground
