Hey y’all, sorry for the long post, but hang in there. I promise it’s worth it. 

I just want to let you know that my posts might slow done over the next 3 or 4 days as I‘m in the process of moving. Thanks to all of you- my clients, my patrons and subscribers- I’m able to escape this shit hole city and get to a small town in the country hours away. No more sirens, no more drunks fighting outside my door, no more subway rides in trains stinking of piss. Me and my girl are excited for this change- days filled with nature and nice people, and nights filled with stars and peace.

You guys made this possible. You’re patrons of my art, and I consider you friends. You could be accessing my work for free anywhere on the internet, but you choose to come here and support me. And in doing so, you make this art possible. 

More than anything, you’ve changed my life. I was a struggling artist for years, until I finally took the plunge and created Metrinome. I had ideas for things like Wayfare Gotham Sirens for years. It was the kind of thing I would just think about and get turned on, and think that maybe one day I’d try my hand at drawing hentai. And one day  during the covid shutdown in the city, locked in my apartment with my girlfriend, I just started drawing the first Gotham Sirens. I posted it on hentai foundry and immediately found the beginnings of a small but enthusiastic audience, starved for a genre of erotic content that, like me, you weren’t finding In many other places.

And now, it’s been 3 years, the audience has multiplied exponentially. And most importantly and surprisingly, I have found you pervs to be kindest, most supportive, most empathetic, reliable and hilarious people. I know the word community gets thrown around a lot, but that’s what you guys are. Not just an audience anymore, but a fanbase; a community. And I know it’s silly to speak this way about what is essentially a form of porn, but I think erotica- narrative erotica in particular is something more. We all get excited to see what will happen next. You speculate and anticipate, and I’m known to alter aspects of the story after getting your reactions in real time. That’s community, not just a fanbase. 

And I want to close this portion of the post by saying that moving to a small peaceful country town during this spooky season is going to make Wayfare Horror EXTRA FUN to draw and write. I cannot wait to get deep into the camp horror/lesbian sex vibe, especially since a lot of volume 2 is set during the holidays (Halloween - Christmas). Since it took a year or more to do volume 1, I’m planning to have volume 2 framed by Halloween, starting now with this month and ending in halloween 2024. 

Last part of this post is a possible announcement regarding how your subscriptions are going to help me expand. I’m putting a lot of this money back into the business; upgrading my painting tablet and computer, helping me produce more and more detailed art. I’m also planning to learn to animate, if all goes well. So I can sometimes create panels-in-motion. 

And lastly, I‘ve had an offer from one fan to help me learn how to create an online game. He wants to show me how to use the software to create those interactive hentai games, and I was thinking of doing one set in the world of the “Metrinomicon”… is that something you’d be interested in? Let me know. It would no doubt be a lot of work, adding on to comics stuff, but I am curious about translating my art/writing into that medium- a playable comic where you get to be a character in Metrinome’s twisted world.
