Curdstard (Patreon)

Curdstard: The custard Pokemon. This Pokemon appears when rich,  sweet desserts are left in the fridge too long and turn rotten.  Curdstards are very badly behaved and have no manners, opening their  gelatinous mouths and throwing tantrums if they don't get their way.  They leave a slimy trail of poisonous sauce wherever they go.  So Seb challenged me to design some fakemon after I mused that a  particular word sounded like "the third tier evolution of a rotten pastry  pokemon." (It was "pederasty." I do not at all recall how we ended up there.)  I actually came up with all three evolution tiers for this guy, and if I  have the time and motivation I'll draw the other ones as well. 

I mostly  did this to get the hang of using Procreate and get back into the habit  of drawing on a tablet.  I did the lineart for this while listening to podcasts with Seb, and  then messed around with color on my own (for way too fucking long, I  have not digitally colored anything in like ten years) while listening  to the Six of Crows audiobook.
