I think a watercolour typewriter (inspired by The Tortured Poets Department) would be a really fun tutorial! ☺️🎨

Katherine

How about a caterpillar on a leaf, or a snail ?

Lilias

Just in the middle of your tree challenges and looking at the horse chestnut tree with its candles out - always a May treat for my birthday 💕

Ellen Raguette

Would love to see how to create an illustrated map…like for event (wedding) or an illustrated travel map!

Mary Moury

I would love to know how to do ripples on a quilt or picnic blanket when it's spread out on the ground but not completely flat

Lauryn Ott

Ranunculus 🌸 Coffee cup with latte art ☕️ Butterflies/butterfly garden 🦋 Buildings/cities 🌃 🌆

Marcia

Flowering bleeding hearts

Carina 🌸

I would love a Japanese temple (shrine)

Nico

Hi Harriet, I’d love to see a homefront or shopfront!

Holly Geary Brooks

I’d like to learn how to apply a watercolor ground to canvass and then paint on it.

Carolina

I would love to see some shells

Gwen Marriott

I would like to do a sushi illustration

Nicola Archbold

I would love to do a vintage birthday cake. Would make a lovely card idea for a loved one :)

Deb

Bleeding Heart...yes and hummingbirds

Tamara Ten Hove

Hi everyone, I would like to learn to draw and paint a baby in a crib with a beautiful canopy. Perhaps resembling some kind of bridal veil. I hope you understand what I mean, I use google translate ;)

Heather S

What about a comparison or pros and cons of different paper cutting methods (folding and tearing, cutting with exacto knife, scissors, etc.)? Could be a nice quick fix.

Karen

I know you’ve done a few buildings in the past Harriet, but loved your scene of your trip to Spain earlier this year. So I guess I’m asking for urban sketch & painting please.

Robin Duke

The Hotel Carlton in Cannes, France or maybe Positano, Italy

Alison Gammon

Have we done pandas at all? I was thinking realistic ones rather than cartoon style. Giant pandas would be great, but red pandas are lovely too. Thank you!

Monica Holmes

Yes, this, with a beautiful Japanese garden style landscaping.

Carina 🌸

Oh indeed! Even more lovely 🥰

Kate Knapp

Unicorn for my 4-year-old, please.

Sophie

I would also love an urban painting or seaside one please!

Anna Morgado

Another idea for Swifties would be The Black Dog bar

Andrea Schlickbernd

My husband retired early and he wanted to celebrate with a European Cruise in July. I would love to practice a "cityscape" or "urban" style painting.

Stew Hall

Wompoo! It’s like a rainbow coloured pigeon

Stew Hall

A bunch of red grapes on a grapevine?

Barbara Colour

I would love to paint a realistic ladybird on a blade of grass. 🥰🌿🐞

Linda Newbern

Maybe some daisies with a few ladybugs on stems.

Anna Rofes

A cat looking at some birds in the garden? That's what mine is doing wright now :D

Susan Ing

Someone walking through a lavender field on a sunny day? Flowers/ petals in a puddle?

Snaidis

I loved the crane so much... Maybe a loose tiger? With bamboo? Or another asiatype painting. Landworker in a rice field? It's so amazing how in the asian style there is so much in just a few brushstrokes

Carol Barnard

I would love to do a butterfly with a delft pattern all in one colour

Jana

Mythical creatures, insects, scenes from books, weepinf willow tree...I can't remember if you've done a flamingo but that could be one 🤷🏻‍♀️

Suzanne Spruijt

My redbud tree (cercis Siliquastrum) is at it's best in May. It still has loads of flowers but the first leafs are coming out as well, that might be interesting. And as for first harvest: a bunch of radishes!

Dee R

This would be great for any drapes fabric and much more pleasing than a flat fabric

Dee R

Rocking chair on the deck with a potted plant

Rachel Clark

There are some really cute ones with rainbow tails/manes on YouTube!

Rachel Clark

Yes! I’ve been wanting a bleeding heart for ages!

Rachel Clark

I’d love to see a Maypole scene—dancing children in flower crowns and colorful ribbons and sunshine and come on, summer!

Rachel Clark

The Kentucky Derby is the first Saturday in May—it would be awesome to do either a scene at a racetrack/paddock/winner’s circle or a fancy hat or fascination; the kind that fancy people wear at the Derby or Royal Ascot.

Uta

A stormy seaside scene or children foraging in rockpools.

Stew Hall

I might be a bit late but for something a little different maybe you could do a short video on a good watercolour set up for outdoor painting such as what kit you use, the brushes you take and what other things you may need?

de Winton Paper co.

I think this will be a really nice idea for a watercolour challenge. Not sure if we could get it all done in one YouTube tutorial

de Winton Paper co.

that sounds nice. we could do a simple one on YouTube. We have a few more detailed ones in the watercolour challenges.

de Winton Paper co.

Nice! We've got a good hummingbird tutorial in Birds, Bees and Blossoms

Carina 🌸

Painting is the point 😍 You can make all the videos that you need. I am sure that everybody will enjoy each one of them 🥰 Thank you dear Harriet! 🩷

Kate Knapp

How did I miss this? It is so perfect! Thank you!!
