Hi everyone, a HUGE well done for finishing the Garden pond watercolour challenge series. It is customary for us to have a few weeks off to do some one-off pieces before embarking on a new big topic. I was really taken with these logs when walking Crumble the other day. It's very satisfying to paint and surprisingly effective.

I have attached the reference photos to this post so you can have a closer look.

You will need:

Cold pressed watercolour - mine is 9x6 inches

A pencil and eraser

Colours I used: Buff Titanium, Yellow Ochre, Raw Umber, Burnt Sienna, Moonglow, Paynes Grey

Brushes I used: Size 2, 0, 4/0

Enjoy!

Don't forget to share your paintings on social media using #dwpcchallenge and on Discord.

I've been very behind on the watercolor challenges, so this one looks like a good class to get back into the swing of things :)
