Berries

This time of year is so busy with quick tutorials for Christmas cards and capturing the beauty of Autumn. You will notice I'm posting more little tutorials on social media, these red berries are lovely to paint!

Weather's coming!

We've had snow and Storm Bert this week! Thankfully it didn't stop me having some lovely time with friends and family and taking Crumble on some very snowy walks!

Bristol

Two of those friends are Ros and Polly who I popped up to see in Bristol on Thursday. We all met working in theatre together and all continue to run our own businesses and work in the creative industry. It's so important to have friends like these, I'm so grateful I'm not too far from Bristol.

Vegeta-bull

This puntastic painting is a commission that I completed this week! A play on words for a family with the surname 'Bull'.

Last workshop of the year

Storm Bert did everything it could to prevent my last workshop of the year from taking place but we managed to proceed with a lovely Winter watercolour workshop at River Cottage, painting Christmas cards and festive foliage and plants. I'm looking forward to booking in some new workshop dates there in the new year.

Youtube This week

We have a fun, reverse colouring inspired page of Christmas trees on Youtube tomorrow! And then on Thursday we've got a special Advent Calendar Prep video

Patreon Watercolour Challenge

I'm continuing on with some exclusive Christmas card tutorials for my sweet pea and above tiers! We've got a lovely traditional sled with a lamp to guide the way.

Hey Harriet, I hope you are having a lovely week so far? I’m really enjoying this feature from your camera roll, I love the sneak peaks of tutorial and seeing what happens behind the scenes. I did have a query about the previous feature as I recall there was some step by step tutorials via the close friends stories on Instagram. Of course I understand that the close friends on Instagram is no longer functional but I wanted to ask if there was a way to share the previous step by steps you did? I was hoping to attempt the garden gate one and the wisteria against a brick wall. I totally get it if it can’t be reinstated or if the footage is lost but I figured it always worth asking :) All the best xx

Hi nicola, I totally appreciate there are things on there that would be nice to access! What is your instagram, I'll add you and you can watch them.
