Stickers!
I have been playing around with my flower paintings to make stickers. While I know many of you are masters of the cricut, at the moment I'm cutting these out by hand but I fully intend to get experimenting with the cricut. If you have any cricut tutorial recommendations for this please let me know!
Card making
February is the month of endless family birthdays, tomorrow is my Mum's. While these arent stickers, I love to cut out various paintings I've held on to and turn them into something new. This project also inspired Thursday's Youtube tutorial.
Alizarin Crimson Crew
On the subject of Stickers, I had great fun turning my Youtube membership emojis into stickers! Youtube members have access to this sheet of digitised images to print off too!
A house guest
This week we looked after our friend's dog called Zed. He towers over Crumble but they get on really well.
Watercolour Hang out
I painted the first page of my Etchr Lab Perfect Sketchbook in the watercolour hang out. Find out what I thought of it!
Creative Train Journeys
I was so lucky to discover my great friend and fellow Patreon creator Emma Carlisle was on the same train as me to London. There was no better way to spend the 2 and a half hour journey than having a good old chat.
Flowers
I was going to London to visit the FLOWERS – FLORA IN CONTEMPORARY ART & CULTURE exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery. It was so nice to go and see some art instead of creating it! Try and make some time to get out to galleries and see how others are being creative. It did me a power of good.
3 ways with flowers
The exhibition was curated from artist, sculptors, botanists, fashion designers and photographers through the ages. These were three pieces that I particularly liked.
Crumble
Crumble had to have surgery on Friday. He's recovering really well and we're so thankful for all the nice messages on social media over the weekend.
This week on Youtube 1
The daffs are out, the sun is shining! Hooray! Time for some sunshine on the channel in the form of two daffodil tutorials. The first is a still life, inspired by the paintings I created for the Paint Your Own Calendar (still available in digital form)
This week on Youtube 2
A card, inspired by the one I made for my mum earlier in the week! Perfect for all occasions.
