Hi Harriet! If your retreat is in Argeles-sur-mer, you MUST visit Collioure, which is the next village to south. It’s amazing: Matisse painted there and his Mediterranean colours are sublime. Were spent a week in Collioure last October and it was divine, such an inspiration.
