Hi everyone, it's been a week full of assembling wedding stationery! I sometimes forget I'm a wedding stationer during the year when tutorials take over but in the summer months it's front and centre! I hope to share some of the stationery with you when the weddings are over.
Ant's Birthday
Ant's birthday falls on the summer solstice (21st June) which means it's always a hot one! We decided to get even warmer and have lunch at an amazing BBQ restaurant that Ant has been wanting to try. He's got a real taste for BBQ following our trip to the USA last year. We barely dented this platter and still have boxes of it in the fridge!
More miniatures!
I've had a very intense few days painting up a fresh batch of miniature flower tutorials which will roll out on social media in July as well as the long form versions for Patrons. Watch this space!
Last week of the alphabet!
It's X,Y and Z in the final week of the floral alphabet on Youtube... can you guess what we'll be painting?
What's next on Patreon
You put in some great suggestions for July's You Choose Youtube and I've been getting ahead, banking up tutorials for both Youtube and Patreon. This week we are finishing the greenhouse but I can give an exclusive preview for next week that we are painting Australian flowers in a gorgeous wreath! This will be a 2 part series.
The sneakiest of sneak peeks
I am most excited about this project that has been in the works for a long time and I just needed to find time to paint it all. For those of you who dont love drawing and ask me for templates, this will be very welcome. And for everyone else, I think this will be great fun. I am launching some Watercolour Colouring sheets for Summer! These will be my line drawings all ready printed onto watercolour paper with a suggested colour palette for you to paint. They are themed around holidays (vacations) and Patrons will have early access when they go on sale in the next few weeks. These will make lovely little gifts for any beginner painters wanting to try watercolour or for more experienced painters who want a break from drawing!
