Let's go to the Beach

On tuesday this week on Youtube we are painting this lovely walk down to the beach. It features specific studies on skies and water so I hope it will satisfy those who asked for those topics in You Choose Youtube.

Treasure

I stumbled across this tiny piece of ceramics while walking Crumble at the weekend. I dont know if this is exclusive to Devon, but since moving down here I've discovered different types of 'letterboxing' which makes a walk in nature even more exciting. I must remember to rehide and share the photo!

Wedding stationery 1 & 2

I've been really inspired by my wedding stationery commission this week. I was asked to paint a crest for the couple that included lovebirds, the ruins from the historic venue they're getting married at, Lilies, pale pinks and a general sense of whimsy and fairytale. I genuinely was spoilt for choice! This is how wedding stationery is made at de Winton paper co: all things are painted but as separate layers so I can scan them in, digitise and then play around with layouts that remain flexible when the couple need to make changes.
