Hi everyone, I’m relishing the back to school feel of new beginnings that September brings. This monthly bulletin has all the information you need for livestream dates, painting themes for the month and any other business.

I am posting this one day before I raise my my tier prices slightly (September 1st). If you join today on the lower price your pricing will not change going forward. All current members will be kept at the current price so this will only affect you if you decide to leave and rejoin later or if you change your membership tier.

September News

Starting with some very positive news for USA patrons, we are in the process of reinstating shipments to the USA in the next week or so but in the meantime, books are tariff and VAT free so we have already reinstated them on Etsy to be available for you. Which leads me to my next bit of news...

...September 25th is the UK and Europe publication date for my new book You will Be able to Paint with Watercolour by the end of this book (abbreviated YWBATP). I’m so excited to have a proper watercolour handbook that has everything to get started for beginners as well as lovely new projects for painters of all abilities. Any US customers who had been concerned about their pre orders dont need to be: books are tariff and VAT free and we have a US distributor.

Here is a handy link to pre order for wherever you are in the world. Thank you.

I have one more retreat in Scotland this month which I am really looking forward to. I know I will see some of you there and that is just wonderful! I announced a brand new watercolour residential retreat for this time next year in Greece and it looks like there will be plenty of Patrons in attendance. Thank you.

I can't wait to get my book. I asked my husband for it as an idea for my October birthday so the timing is perfect. The projects you identified sound like so much fun. Can't wait.

Hi Harriet! Will you be doing your Christmas series again this year? I had so much fun doing this last year. I hung a ribbon down an interior door and clipped my little paintings as an advent calendar. My husband so enjoyed it!

Kathryn Chandler

Hi Harriet ,upgraded to sweet pea v v late last night as I love your bird painting. The starling is amazing but I cannot find challenge number 150 or the reference photo . I can see 149 and 151 but no 150 . Please can you help . I would love to have a go. I am not very good with masking fluid but I am determined to get better. Many thanks for everything you do . K

Hey Kathryn, I've replied to your comment somewhere else but the quickest way to look for things is to type the watercolour challenge number into the search function at the top of the page
