'that is now languishing in a cupboard somewhere' is in reference to my old and now completed sketchbook from the previous watercolour hang outs! I will do a sketchbook flick through for you all very soon.

I had my head phones in for this one, and I've realised that it means that you can't hear the conversation from all the patrons - just me responding! So that is a good lesson learned, I wont have head phones in for future recordings.

Here is the watercolour hang out screen recording. I am using a new sketchbook which is an accordion folded paper layout.

This watercolour hang out was slightly different. I gave everyone the three reference photos at once and people could choose how to spend the time. Please see attached images.

I'm interested to know from those of you who attended - and those of you who have a go painting it back, did you like this format or do you prefer one at a time. Consider whether it was helpful having more drying time and being able to choose what to do and when on your paintings.

Oooh that’s really cool! You can work on one of the other paintings while the others are drying!

yes, I felt that there have been a few times I've wanted to have some drying time for a piece so this felt like a good way to get round it

I loved this. As I’m new to painting I only painted one, the first picture. It was nice to choose & have time to do it well. If I’m honest I probably could have given another picture a go, as I think I would have had time, but I enjoyed listening to everyone chatting once I had finished. You pick photos that I wouldn’t normally dare have a go at painting, so it’s good to be stretched & encouraged to just give it a go.
