From My (Christmas) Camera Roll (Patreon)

It's our last Camera Roll of the year, and we want to wish you all a very happy Christmas and New Year. Thank you for an amazing 2025, full of creativity, laughter and beautiful paintings from all of you. Here is a little sneak peek of the week.

December Livestream

We had our final livestream of 2025 this afternoon and painted this atmospheric winter scene. This image really sums up why I love watercolour so much. You can create ghostly soft focus images alongside crisp lively detail all with a handful of colours. Wonderful. The recording is also up on Patreon for you to watch back!

Creative Gift Giving

I enjoyed mosaicing some Christmas gifts a few weeks ago and was inspired to keep going. I've loved painted picture frames for a while now and have wanted to have a go. I enjoyed a few hours over 3 days, prepping, painting, varnishing and sourcing some lovely photos to go in each of my frames. I used wooden frames from Amazon, acrylic paint and spray varnish. My advice is keep your pattern simple, just like I advise when we do borders in watercolour.

Christmas Crumble

Crumble, admiring the many wreaths that were made this year...we need to sweep those leaves!

Merry Christmas!

Here we are having enjoyed our 'office christmas party'! I hope you all have a wonderful few weeks and we will see you in the new year!

And dont forget...

Look out for the final five instalments of mini flower painting videos (2 on Youtube and 3 on Patreon - Daisy tier and above) to keep you occupied from 28th December!
