Full Length Macaulay Culkin in 'Home Alone' (Patreon)

Hi everyone, this is an intermediate little tutorial but I have attached the reference photo in the post. Have a go and the best thing is to try, you may surprise yourself!

This is a little painting of Macaulay Culkin as Kevin in one of my favourite Christmas films 'Home Alone'. For UK audiences this was a first look at the sheer splendour of American Christmas decor, all the sumptuous green and red and streets lit up with Christmas lights, amazing!

You will need:

Cold pressed watercolour Paper (mine is 6x8 inches)

hb pencil

hard and soft eraser

Colours I used: Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Paynes Grey, Alizarin Crimson, Organic Vermillion, Deep Sap Green, Moonglow

Brushes I used: Pointed round size 6,2,0,2/0, 4/0

Enjoy!
