Hi everyone, instead of the weekly watercolour challenge, I've got a fascinating look at the Daler Rowney Factory for all paid members.

I was invited for a look round a few weeks ago and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to give you an insight into the amazing combination of history and innovation this company embodies...and if I can get any more artist quality sap green!

Daler-Rowney is a prestigious British manufacturer of artist materials with a history dating back to 1783, renowned for producing high-quality paints, brushes, canvases, and papers for artists of all levels. It has a long history of supporting renowned artists, including JMW Turner, Beatrix Potter and John Constable. Based in Bracknell, UK, the company is a subsidiary of the F.I.L.A. Group and is famous for its System3 acrylics, Georgian oil colors, and Aquafine watercolours.

It's also the creator of my favourite Sap Green in the Artist Quality Watercolour range that has been since discontinued. Find out how I get on, looking for my favourite colour!
